BOCA RATON, Fla. – It was only fitting that Tara Simon (Brighton, Mich.) scored on the last kick of the game, after all when it comes to soccer she's pretty much a late bloomer.
 
 
Simon, a forward for the Region II 2003 team, tallied in the 70th minute and also assisted on the team’s other two goals in a 3-3 draw with Region IV on Thursday morning in the US Youth Soccer ODP Girls Thanksgiving Interregional at Spanish River Athletic Park.
