ECNL Recap: Grinding out results

It was a small slate of games in the ECNL this weekend as only a handful of divisions were in play. Check out the results for a select few games below.

U14

Real Colorado beat Colorado Storm in the Rocky Mountain showdown on Saturday. Grayson Lynch and Alexa Porter scored for Real Colorado off assists from Caroline Noonan and Aubree Martinez. Maysa Walters scored the lone goal for Storm.

Kristi Jones scored twice and Ciare Whitely had a goal and an assist to help GSA nab a 3-2 victory over West Florida Flames on Saturday. Danniane Arboleda and Caroline Spurlin scored for Flames in the defeat. GSA finished off its trip to Florida with a 3-3 draw on Sunday. Morgan Bentley, Macy Douglas, and Jones all scored in the draw for GSA. Kristen Scott scored twice for Orlando City. Avery Kloeppel had the other goal.

San Diego Surf defeated Arsenal FC 4-0 in a showdown of two of the best teams in Southern California. Brooke Wilson, Elyse Waterhouse, Madison Mercado, and Amber McCorkle all scored a goal in the win. Sheila Kaiser contributed with a pair of assists.

U15

The battle in the desert ended 1-1 with SC Del Sol and Sereno Soccer Club splitting the points on Sunday. April Barnes scored the lone goal for SC Del Sol off an assist from Olivia Nguyen. Kalena Teufel scored for Sereno.

Dallas Texans and TSC Hurricane also shared the spoils on Sunday in a 2-2 draw. Trinity Thomas and Sophia Silva-Trevino scored for the Texans. Taylor Hair and Martha Helsee scored for Hurricane.

Solar Chelsea Soccer Club remained in the top spot in the national standings following a 2-0 win over D’Feeters. Courtney Sebazco had a goal and an assist in the win. Catiana Lychywek added the other goal.

U16

St. Louis Scott Gallagher Missouri recorded a 3-1 win over FC Wisconsin Eclipse on Saturday behind two goals and an assist from Kayleigh Stahlschmidt. Gabrielle Lawlor scored the other goal.

Challenge SC defeated AHFC 1-0 on Saturday in a Texas Conference showdown. Chaylyn Hubbard scored the lone goal off an assist from Lillian Bravenec. Challenge SC stretched its shutout streak to three games following the result.

Eagles Soccer Club rolled past Strikers FC 4-1 on Sunday. Tara McKeown scored all four goals for Eagles in the win. Kiara Pickett and Laura Ishikawa each recorded an assist.

U17

Eclipse Select Soccer Club defeated Vardar 4-0 on Saturday. Foster Ignoffo scored twice and Marissa Bosco and Kristen McFarland each added a goal in the win. Courtney Coleman, Channing Foster, Madison Navarro, and Lea Waddle each had an assist.

Slammers FC defeated West Coast FC 2-1 on Sunday. Duke(w) commit Lexington Magliarditi scored both goals for Slammers. Grace Chalmers scored the lone goal for West Coast FC.

U18

Birmingham United picked up four points over the weekend with a win against Charlotte Soccer Academy and a draw versus Carolina Elite Soccer Academy. Gaylynn Cooper, Walters Haynes, and Brooke McKee all scored in the 3-0 win over Charlotte Soccer Academy. McKee also had two assists in the game. McKee added another goal on Sunday in the 2-2 draw against CESA. Brittany Yoder scored the other goal in the result.
