Heather Bradshaw, ELA Elite: Bradshaw didn’t finish off any of her scoring chances, but was the go-to option for teammates 43 and 22. The PSG back line played conservatively off her allowing other ELA players extra space to dribble forward.

Davanna White, PSG MI Gators 98 Orange: White turned in a Tim Howard-esque performance Saturday morning. While she surrendered a game-tying goal in the second half, the PSG defense was on its back foot the whole game and relied on White to bail them out repeatedly. She made seven saves on on-goal shots alone and stopped a 38th minute penalty kick that would have gone in the upper left corner of the net.

Christina Kim, SAA-SCU U18 Black: Kim had a strong offensive performance out of the midfield. She assisted on the opening goal and scored the second off a rebound. She didn’t have too much of a defensive presence, but can’t be blamed due to the Eagles’s lack of offense in the match.

Sidney O’Keeffe, SAA-SCU U18 Black: O’Keeffe didn’t score or assist in SAA’s 2-0 win, but was the driving force of the offense in the second half. She showed great vision and didn’t play favorites, creating opportunities for Julia Szylke, Kim and Mazurek.

Kennedy Irmen, SAA-SCU U18 Black: Irmen was a stalwart on the back line, turning around Eagles attacks throughout. She also provided a good target on set pieces and took a direct kick in the first half that was on goal but saved.

Casey Harris, SAA-SCU U18 Black: Casey Harris was everywhere for SAA. Whenever there was an attack, she seemed to be involved. She made three good runs and passes in the first ten minutes and nearly scored on a deep shot that on that almost bounced over the goalkeeper’s head.

Haley Anderson, Chicago Edge SC GU17 Premier: While Anderson may not have needed a shutdown performance in the second half given the amount of goal support she received, she made several tough saves earning her this spot. She surrendered a goal in the fifth minute, but tightened up her play for the remaining 75.

Anna Eddelbuettel, Chicago Edge SC GU17 Premier: While there were three goal-scorers for the Edge, Eddelbuettel earned offensive MVP honors for her ability to create something out of nothing. Countless times with the ball bouncing around midfield, she took control, ran the length of the field by herself against multiple defenders and scored. Her teammates took notice of her speed compared to the opponents and looked for her as often as they could, resulting in several offside penalties but more often threatening attacks.

Patricia Heneghan, Chicago Edge SC GU17 Premier: Heneghan scored the second goal for the Edge and like Eddelbuettel made several threatening runs. She had a shot at a second goal in the 59th minute when she dribbled through the legs of one defender on the left sideline and beat two others down the field. Her shot from the left side of the 18-yard box went wide left though.
