Colton Storm, HMMS Eagle 93, U17, Center Midfielder: Colton is the Eagle 93’s ‘engine’ in the midfield for the Eagle 93’s. Colton is a talented and versatile midfielder who covers a lot of ground setting up the offensive attack and supporting the defense. Colton provided his squad with a great boost at the Region I Championships having just returned from training with the U17 National Team.

Jared Martinelli, HMMS Eagle 93, U17, Midfielder: Jared is the HMMS Eagle 93’s attacking midfielder. Jared – recently verbally committing to Temple – has elevated his offensive game for the Eagle 93’s over the past few months scoring an impressive 9 goals in six games heading into the Region I Championships.

Braden Klein, FC Delco Academy 97, Midfielder: Braden commands the offensive half of the FC DELCO Academy '97 team as their attacking midfielder. He has the field vision to set the table for players around him while at the same time advantageously striking when given the opportunity himself. He plays well beyond his size even when training several years up with the full time 16 & 18 FC DELCO Academy teams. This young man has a bright future with FC DELCO.

Brett Campbell, FC Delco Academy, U16, Forward: Brett – a two time “Team of the Month” nominee - set the single season DELCO Academy goal record this year, recording 21 goals in 26 games, breaking Joe Schmid's record of 17 goals. Brett was in the top 5 in the entire academy league this year in goals scored and was the leading scorer in the entire northeast region. Brett is a 1994 who will be entering his junior year at the Haverford School.

Matt Kehm, FC Delco Pre-Academy, U14, Forward: Matt played for the FC DELCO U14 Pre-Academy team this year and developed into one of the more dangerous strikers in the Northeast Region. Matt's name was usually on the score sheet this year as FC DELCO climbed to the top of the standings of the Pre-Academy league riding on the broad shoulders of Matt all the way to 3rd place in the region.

Zack Steffan, FC Delco Academy, U16, Goalkeeper: Zack has been “a rock” in goal for both the U16 and U18 Academy teams this season, served as co-captain of the U16 Academy team and started every game for either age group. He has been selected to play for the Philadelphia Union U18’s against the Everton FC U18’s at PPL on July 20th and with the Union again at the upcoming U17 SUM Cup.

Shane Campbell, FC Delco Academy, U16, Defender: Shane has served as the co-captain of FC Delco’s U16 Academy squad and the vocal leader of their defense. Shane has also been serving double-duty with the U18 Academy side throughout the season starting every game for either age group. Shane is also selected to play for the Philadelphia Union U-18's against Everton FC U-18's on July 20th at PPL Park, and the Philadelphia Union U-17 SUM Cup team.

Brian Attanasio, YMS Thunder, U18, Defender: Brian is a leader for the Thunder in organizing his team and keeping them focused on the tactical game plan. Without Brian’s leadership and defensive skills, the Thunder would have captured the U18 Region I Championship this July. His tenacity to defend and having no fear of the opposing team are impressive. What is even more impressive about Brian is that he is only 5'6" but plays like he is 6'5".

Matthew Landy, YMS Thunder, U18, Defender: Matt is one of those quiet players that has the natural ability to be where he is most needed. Matt is a natural left and uses his speed and skill to make big plays in every game. He has the ability to keep pace with the fastest strikers on opposing teams and keep them from scoring. His unselfish play and precise delivery of balls to initiate the attack earns him great respect from his teammates and will be key to the Thunder’s game plan at Nationals this July.

Colin Sulpizio, YMS Thunder, U18, Goalkeeper: As with most teams, the goalie can keep a team in the game and Collin is no different. He is fearless, agile and a physical presence on the pitch. He is a vocal leader who keeps his team focused and motivated. He watches the game and is not afraid to get involved in the play. His ability to bring the team together showed on the field during the Thunder’s run to the Region I Championship and his leadership will be key to their success at the National Championships this July.

Harry Girandola, YMS Intensity, U13, Defender: Harry is a fearless defender who excels at 1v1 situations and plays with great tenacity and focus. The Intensity squad looks to Harry to be that last defense and keep the team in the game. His athletic ability is evident when he chases someone down and his ability to win 50/50 balls and initiate the offensive attack was critical to his team’s recent success.

Satchel Corbet, YMS Intensity, U13, Central Midfielder: Satchel is a midfielder that never stops. He has exception foot skills and can place the ball where needed. Although he is dominant in the midfield, he has the precision to play striker and often will take the ball to the net with success. Even with Satchel's skill he is not a selfish player and will pass to an open player instead of taking the shot himself.

Colby Gordon, YMS Intensity, U13, Defender: Central Defender Colby has the ability to read the game and articulate that to his teammates calling out direction to help keep the team focused. His skill and ability will continue to move this team forward. He is calm and that calm helps keep the rest of the team from panicking. Colby's ability to win head balls was a key to the Intensity’s recent success.

Colby Thomas, Lehigh Valley United, U15, Forward: Although his Lehigh Valley United U15 squad did not advance out of Region I Championship group play on goal differential, Colby Thomas didn’t fail to leave his mark leading the U15 division in goals scored with six - a total of two hat-tricks.

Following is the Girls List, in no particular order.

Moira Petrie, Midfielder and Anna Soccorsi, Defender, FC Delco Lightning 94/95, U16: Two time “Team of the Month” nominee Moira Petrie, and the Lightning’s defensive leader, Anna Soccorsi, were named to the U16 ECNL All-Event Team for the ECNL/PDA College Showcase, which was held May 28-30, 2011 in Zarephath, NJ. The ECNL All-Event Teams are selected based upon nominations from coaches and scouts based upon individual and team performances over the course of the three-game event.

Daija Griffin, FC Pennsylvania Strikers, U17, Forward: Daija Griffin of the Region I Champion FC Pennsylvania Strikers U17 squad was part of a three-way tie for most goals scored – five – in the U17 group at the Region I Championships earlier this month.

Megan Bonelli, Foothills Team Extreme, U13, Goalkeeper: Megan has consistently proven that she is one of the top goalkeepers in the Northeast. During the last month, she was unbeaten during all five PA West state cup games and only conceded 2 goals in 3 games at the Region I Championships. During the first game at Regional’s, she not only saved a penalty kick, but also saved the 2 follow-up shots. A large part of the teams’ successes over the year, can be attributed to Megan’s calming and dominant presence at part of a strong defensive unit.

Kristen Swope, Foothills Team Extreme, U13, Midfield: To this point, Kristen is the Foothills teams’ only ODP regional player. As such, the coach and players all look to Kristen to provide leadership and strong contributions during important games. Since Kristen was named to the Regional Pool last year, she has set herself even higher goals to perhaps make the national pool. Kristen was instrumental in the teams’ PA West state cup success and strong showing in the subsequent regional competition. Against the toughest opponents, she seems to have her strongest games and contributions and none was more important that the goal she scored against the Connecticut state champions during a 1 -1 tie.

Mariah Custer, Foothills Team Extreme, U13, Midfield: Mariah always has a knack of scoring important goals, and none was more important this year than the only goal in a closely fought PA West state cup final. Suffering most of the season with various injuries, including a concussion, Mariah’s presence during the state cup games provided a boost in team confidence and expectations after she was declared fit to play. Mariah is a star track athlete that can “run all day” and provides the energy and desire that feeds to the rest of the team. Needless to say, it was fitting and not unexpected when she turned up at the far post after a long run to coolly slot home the winner.

Morgan Williams, North United Fire, U16, Forward: Morgan scored the game winner for the North United Fire U16’s in the Pennsylvania West State Cup final. Morgan also was the second leading scorer in the Region I Championship highlighted by three goals in the last group game to help her team advance to the semifinals.

Amy Kolor, North United Fire, U16, Defender: Central Defender Amy Kolor is an all around solid defender and great leader of the back line. Her tireless work rate and defensive skill helped the North United Fire shut down opposing attacks during the State and Regional tournaments.

Bethany Perri, North United Fire, U16, Midfielder: Bethany is an exceptionally solid and consistent presence in the midfield for the North United U16’s. She is a great ball winner and distributor who connects accurately on both long and short passes helping to launch the Fire’s attack.

Chelsea Burkhart, North United Chaos, U14, Central Midfielder: Chelsea is a physical presence, creative with the ball and can be counted on to be the play maker as well as score. Chelsea scored the game winner in the Chaos’ Pennsylvania West State Cup final.

Emily Lyon, North United Chaos, U14, Goalkeeper: Emily is skilled and consistent in goal for the Chaos recently providing her team with great performances during the State Cup and FC Delco tournament. Emily has excellent reaction, strong in the air and is fearless coming off her line.

Kallie Conte, North United Chaos, U14, Forward: Kallie is a natural goal scorer possessing speed, vision and a natural left foot. Kallie has been providing the North United Chaos U14’s with offensive firepower this season evident from the seven goals she tallied at the recent FC Delco Tournament.
