TDS Combines is finally coming to Texas.  Taking place on December 16^th at the University of Texas at Dallas, the one-day Combine will give boys and girls ages 14-18 individual exposure in their quest to play in college.

In attendance to scout the Combine will be over 20 college coaches from Division I, Division II, Division III, and the NAIA.  In addition to the individual exposure acquired from the Combine, players will also receive a recruiting seminar and a 1-year Premier membership to TopDrawerSoccer.com.  With the Premier membership, players will have the option of showing their scouting report from the Combine to colleges across the country via their TDS profile.

Directing the Combine will be Brian Haynes, current head coach of the North American Soccer League’s Atlanta Silverbacks.  Haynes, a former Trinidad and Tobago international, played professionally from 1989-2000 in Major League Soccer and the American Professional Soccer League.  He was selected by the Dallas Burn in Major League Soccer’s inaugural draft in 1996, and remained with the organization as an assistant coach with FC Dallas from 2001-2007.

A former NAIA soccer player himself at Erskine College, Haynes explained that “if players are good enough and work hard, opportunities will find them, because they never know who is watching at these Combines.”  When asked about the design of TDS Combines, Haynes said that they “provide an excellent opportunity to be seen by a variety of different schools, and to be evaluated by professional and college coaches.”
