U.S. U20 Men’s National Team head coach Tab Ramos made it pretty clear last week that the Toulon Tournament in May was pretty important for the upcoming World Cup. The former U.S. international said that up to 15 or 16 players from the youth tournament in France would likely be on the roster for the World Cup in Turkey.

Obviously, Ramos is not going to pull players away from their teams if they regularly feature but for players whittling away on the bench this is a golden opportunity to get a run in at a high level.

Below is a projection of the 22-player roster that Ramos could be taking to France.

Goalkeepers (2):

Cody Cropper, Kendall McIntosh

These two seem like the obvious choice for France and for Turkey. Cropper has the top spot in the net locked up while the Santa Clara goalkeeper looks like a solid backup.
