AURORA, Colo. – New York Rush captain Sofia Griff highlighted the NPL Champions Cup with goals aplenty and unquestioned leadership.

When she was on the field, she was barreling past defenders and juking out goalies. When she was in her hotel room, she was with her team going over strategy and pointing out things the Rush could improve on.

M: Sofia Griff, U16 New York Rush (N.Y.) – The Yale commit was by far the most dominant scorer in U16 Girls’ action. She scored three goals in the first game to get the Rush off on the right foot, and then closed the championship game with two more goals in the 4-0 win over Boca United.
