U.S. U17 WNT defeats U18 WNT to end camp

class="p1">CHULA VISTA, Calif. - The U.S. U17 Women’s National Team defeated the U18 WNT 2-1 in a scrimmage on Friday. Kalyssa Van Zanten and Sunshine Fontes scored goals in the second half for the U17s. Anna Podojil scored a late goal for the U18s, but it was too little, too late on the day. 

Next up for the U.S. U17 WNT is an international camp in Mexico in November with two games against Mexico in preparation for the CONCACAF Championship in 2018. The U18 WNT will be back in Chula Vista in November for their last camp in 2017.
