U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team head coach Richie Williams has named a 20-player roster that will represent the USA for three international matches in Chile.

The USA faces Chile, Brazil and Qatar at the 2014 Copa Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins from Nov. 18-22. The U.S. opens against host Chile on Tuesday, Nov. 18, in Chillan, and then travels north to Talca for its final two matches. The USA and Brazil square off on Thursday, Nov. 20, followed by a match against Qatar on Saturday, Nov. 22.

This is the USA’s first international competition since winning the Panama International Tournament from Oct. 1-5 that included victories against Costa Rica, Canada and host Panama.

Among this roster, forward Haji Wright is the leading goal scorer on the team with 15 tallies in 16 international games. He also has five assists. For his U-17 tenure, Wright has scored 21 goals in 20 international matches. Wright has also represented the U.S. U-18 MNT earlier this year during the USA’s championship run at the 2014 International Tournament of Vaclav Jezek in the Czech Republic.

Midfielder Christian Pulisic has contributed 12 goals and six assists in 16 international games for the U-17s. Forward Pierre Da Silva is the U-17 MNT’s leader with seven assists this year. The goalkeeping tandem of Kevin Silva and Will Pulisic has accounted for seven of the team’s eight clean sheets this year. Silva has four shutouts and Will Pulisic has three. Both goalkeepers have seven victories in 2014.

Thirteen players are currently registered with Development Academy teams, and 19 of the 20 have ties to the Academy.

The U.S. U-17 MNT is 15-5-1 in international competition this year and 16-5-5 overall.
