Three of a kind: Drew Murphy recorded a hat-trick to lead the Los Angeles Galaxy to a 3-1 victory over Real So Cal on Saturday. Murphy is one of his team’s top go-to attackers along with Dyllan Stevens.

Wow: What an explosive day for Brandon Allen, whose four goals led PDA to a 5-1 blowout over Met Oval. Allen is a true forward with great physical size and when things fall into place for him he’s capable of monster efforts – as evidenced by this past weekend.

Red hot Arsenal:
The en fuego club from California kept its unbeaten streak alive with a 2-0 win over Chivas USA on Friday. Unstoppable goalkeeper Adam Zepeda put up another shutout while Jordan Gibbs and Henry Rios scored for Arsenal which has not dropped a match since Nov. 22.

Game-winners: Albertson SC was rescued by Burak Ugur who provided the match’s only score in the 66th minute, helping the New York club edge Match Fit Chelsea on Sunday.

Jonathan Mendoza lifted his Greater Boston FC squad in the 66th minute of a 2-1 triumph against South Central Premier on Sunday. Benjamin Lussier notched a game-tying score for South Central in the 53rd minute before Mendoza responded.

Oakwood SC slipped past New England Revolution 1-0 on Sunday thanks to a Kevin Michalak goal.

U17/18

Better late … Mamadee Nyepon came through with a goal in the 78th minute as Greensboro flurried to a 1-0 win against the Richmond Strikers on Saturday. Goalkeeper Ryan Hanson patrolled the box and kept his team afloat long enough for them to charge late.

Second-half magic: The Kansas City Wizards rallied in the final stages to outlast Colorado Rush AJ Auxerre 2-1 on Saturday. Ben Coyle tied the game in the 73rd minute before Michael Oakley gave his team the advantage in the 81st.

For Real: Real So Cal won their third straight after a 4-1 victory over Chivas USA on Sunday. Real So Cal is at the top of the SoCal Division with a plethora of talent on both sides of the ball.

Benjamin Gold and Keon Parsa split time at goalkeeper, a strong position for the squad, while leading scorer Edwin Rivas netted two goals.

Game-winners: Michael White. Goal. 46th minute. South Central Premier beats FC Greater Boston 1-0.

Robert Beatty put in a goal in the 75th minute and Charlotte Soccer Academy defeated Virginia Rush AJ Auxerre 2-1 on Saturday.
