LARAMIE, Wyo. (Aug. 26, 2014) –  The University of Wyoming Cowgirl soccer team returns to action this weekend, visiting two regional foes. The Cowgirls will have matches on Friday at 4 p.m. MT at Idaho and Sunday at noon MT at Weber State. UW is coming off a 1-0 win against Montana in the most recent game, highlighted by senior Kasey Curtis scoring her first goal of the season.

“I’m looking forward to two tough games on the road and both teams are quality sides that will test us,” UW head coach Pete Cuadrado said. “We will need to be ready for a battle, we need to be clean in the back and finish in front of the net. I do feel good about where our team is at right now, and we will be ready for these games.”

A look at the matchup – Idaho:  UW leads the overall series 3-2-1, with the last meeting happening Sept. 26, 1999. In the last matchup, Wyoming beat Idaho 3-2 at the Louis S. Madrid Sport Complex.
