The men’s college season is now through yet another weekend, which provides us with a handful of well-placed talking points. We chew through five of the biggies in this week’s Five Things. From an upset-mad start to the season to one of the nation’s bourgeoning assist kings, dig in.

1. No favorites under the sun

The men’s college season wasted little time showcasing the parity that has made it such an interesting and numbingly difficult game to predict. In its only game last week, defending national champs and No. 1 Virginia drew Tulsa. No. 14 Xavier lost to Lipscomb. Omaha, a four-year-old program, is 4-0-0 and beat No. 9 UC Irvine 1-0. Duke struggled to beat Iona College(m).
