BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Owning a three-game unbeaten streak, the Lehigh women's soccer team looks to continue its success on Saturday when it hosts defending Patriot League Champion Boston University. Opening kickoff is set for 4 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex. The Mountain Hawks and Terriers enter the weekend with identical 2-0-1 league records.
 
Lehigh is coming off an impressive 2-1 win at rival Lafayette on Wednesday. Freshman Grace Correll accounted for both of Lehigh's goals as a first-half lefty strike made it 1-0 then a header off a free corner doubled the lead late in the second half. Lafayette ended the Mountain Hawks' shutout streak at 330:47 with a late tally, but Lehigh did not allow a single shot the rest of the way.
 
The Mountain Hawks are off to their best start in Patriot League play since 2006 when they began 3-0-1. Lehigh owns seven points after its first three league games after not recording a point through three games last year. The Mountain Hawks still bounced back to finish within four points of a Patriot League Tournament berth.
 
Correll leads the Mountain Hawks and is tied for third in the league with 10 points. Her four goals are also fourth in the Patriot League. Meanwhile, the defense has impressed, allowing just five goals through eight games. Junior goalie Ani Nahapetian and senior Ashley Blanks both own a save percentage over .800 and goals against average less than one.
 
Ranked sixth in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings, Boston University owns a 6-3-2 overall record and 2-0-1 in Patriot League play. The Terriers are coming off a 3-0 win at Holy Cross Wednesday following a 1-1 tie against Army last weekend. Jenna Fisher leads the team in scoring with five goals and 10 points. Ana Cuffia has six points (two goals, two assists) while Jamie Turchi has five (two goals, one assist). Alyssa Parisi has started nine games in goal and owns a 0.84 GAA and .750 save percentage. Boston University finished last season 15-4-4 and earned a home game in the NCAA Tournament where it defeated Harvard (1-0) then dropped a hard-fought 2-1 final against #9 Santa Clara.
 
Last season marked the first-ever meeting between the two sides as the Terriers beat Lehigh 3-0 up in Boston.
 
Following Saturday's game, the Mountain Hawks will remain home next Wednesday to host Princeton before traveling to Loyola next Saturday (Oct. 11) to face the Greyhounds.
