MLS Draft Preview: Big West Prospects
The 2014 men’s college soccer season is just around the corner. As part of the preview of the season, TDS is taking a look at the 2015 MLS SuperDraft prospects from each of the major conferences.
The Big West is next up on the list. Over the past 10 years, the Big West has consistently been a target for MLS scouts and coaches looking for draft picks. The California-based conference had six players selected in the 2014 SuperDraft.
Early indications suggest this won’t be as successful of a year for the Big West regarding draft picks. It very well could and should be better for team performance, but the senior class in the conference is a bit barren in 2014.
