In partnership with the NPSL, TopDrawerSoccer is naming an NPSL Team of the Week each week during the 2018 NPSL season. The week is defined as matches played Monday through Sunday of the previous week. The following is the inaugural NPSL Team of the Week, named May 16.

F Anthony Allison, Junior Lone Star: Allison tallied the goal in a 1-0 win over Atlantic City FC. He has four goals in two matches this season.

F Whitney Browne, Minneapolis City SC: Browne scored a hat trick in a 5-0 win over Dakota Fusion FC, giving him four goals this season.

F EJ Henry, Georgia Revolution FC: The former Jacksonville Armada U23 standout tallied one goal and one assist in a 3-2 win over Inter Nashville FC.

M Lucas Godinho, Fort Pitt Regiment: Godinho tallied the game-winning goal and one assist in a 2-0 win over FC Buffalo.

M Jamie Lovegrove, Fort Worth Vaqueros: Lovegrove scored a pair of goals in a 3-2 win over Midland-Odessa Sockers FC in the NPSL National Game of the Week.

M Dalton Souder, Greenville FC: Souder scored the game-winning goal in the 77th minute of a 2-1 win over New Orleans.

M Yudai Tashiro, Laredo Heat SC: Tashiro registered three goals and one assist in a 7-0 win over Houston Regals SCA.

D Jordan Bates, Katy 1895 FC: The center back anchored Katy's defense in a 1-0 win over Dutch Lions FC.

D Declan McGivern, Cleveland SC: McGivern scored Cleveland SC’s first goal of the NPSL regular season as part of a 2-0 win over the Rochester Lancers.

D Juan Sanchez, Chattanooga FC: Sanchez was named Man of the Match in a 2-0 win over Emerald Force SC.

GK Mike Novotny, AFC Ann Arbor: Novonty has been in goal for all three AFC Ann Arbor shutouts to start the season, which ties a club record for consecutive shutouts.
