Seminoles #1; Williams Player of the Week
A pair of road wins in the Atlantic Coast Conference have kept Florida State undefeated and #1 in the TopDrawerSoccer.com Tournament 64 National Ranking, updated today
The ranking is an effort to project the postseason NCAA Tournament field of 64 each week, including the automatic qualifiers from every DI conference. The ranking update is posted each Monday after reviewing all results from the previous week.
New teams in the ranking this week include Michigan State as an At-Large and Miami (OH) as the projected winner of the MAC.

Meanwhile, Dayton’s Colleen Williams is our Women’s College Soccer Player of the Week after she helped the team to wins over Rhode Island and Massachusetts with 4 goals and 4 assists. In the process, Williams tied the school’s career goals record at 52. The honor, along with the 11-player Team of the Week, is awarded each week after a review of match reports through DI Women’s Soccer.

GK: Kelsey Wys, Florida State – Recorded 7 saves in a shutout win over North Carolina and helped the Seminoles to two victories.
D: Emi Lawson, California – Played 180 minutes in the back line as the Golden Bears picked up a pair of important Pac-12 victories.
D: Marissa Diggs, UCF – Went 180 minutes in the back line as UCF posted a pair of shutout wins.
M: Maegan Kelly, Marquette – Scored 3 goals to help Marquette to a pair of wins.
M: Daphne Corboz, Georgetown – Scored five goals in an 8-0 win over Pittsburgh.
F: Shannen Wacker, Florida Gulf Coast(w) – Scored 5 goals as the Eagles won a pair of home contests.
F: Morgan Dankanich, Navy – Scored three times to help the Middies to three more victories.
F: Michelle Young, North Texas – Scored 3 goals as the Mean Green won a pair of matches.
F: Colleen Williams, Dayton – Scored 4 goals and added 4 assists as the Flyers won a pair of contests in Atlantic 10 action.
F: Christabel Oduro, Memphis – Scored twice and added 3 assists as the Tigeres won two matches.
F: Maya Hayes, Penn State – Scored 3 times to help the Nittany Lions to a pair of victories.
