Shauni Kerkhoff Named Goalkeeper of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Temple women's soccer player Shauni Kerkhoff was named the American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week after her performance in a 1-0 win at Saint Joseph's last Friday. Gina DiTaranto was selected to the weekly honor roll.
Kerkhoff recorded her second shutout of the season against rival Saint Joseph's to help Temple stay unbeaten at 3-0 this season. She recorded six saves in the win.
DiTaranto lifted her team to the victory by scoring the only goal with less than three minutes left in regulation. The goal was her fourth of the season, which leads the team.
The Owls return to action on Friday at Rider at 7:00 p.m.
