There were a number of other great performances from the week. Check out who else made the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week.

TDS Player of the Week: Albert Ruiz, Florida Gulf Coast

TDS Team of the Week (Sept. 26- Oct. 2)

GK Adam Allmaras, San Diego State - Allmaras finished the week with 12 saves over the course of two games. Allmaras made six saves in the 1-1 draw against Oregon State. There was not much he could do on the Beavers goal. He made six more saves in the 1-0 win over Washington on Sunday.

D Jordan Wilson, Kentucky - Wilson scored the game-winner is overtime as Kentucky upset Charlotte over the weekend. The senior defender headed home a cross from Napo Matsoso to secure the victory.

D Simen Olafsen, Connecticut - Olafsen was named the conference defender of the week after helping Connecticut pick up 1-0 wins over Providence and Tulsa last week. Both of the victories came on the road, as the Huskies put in a quality display in both games.

D Phil Fives, Indiana - After trailing 0-2, Indiana bounced back with two goals in the second half to push the game against Butler into overtime. The Hoosiers struck in overtime to nab the win. Fives finished the game with two assists.

M Zach Zandi, Villanova - While his younger sister Sydney is in Jordan for the U17 World Cup, big brother Zach had quite the week. The Villanova sophomore scored the game-winner off a penalty kick on Wednesday against Princeton. He added another goal on Saturday in a 4-2 win over DePaul.

M Sergio Rivas, Seattle - Rivas scored the game-winner in the WAC opener against Utah Valley and added an assist in the 2-0 win over CSU Bakersfield as Seattle opened conference play with a pair of impressive results.

M Kevin Flesch, Binghamton - Flesch scored the equalizer against UMass-Lowell with 26 seconds left in the game, as the Bearcats held on for a 1-1 draw in the conference opener for both teams.

M Amar Sejdic, Maryland - Sejdic finished with a goal and two assists as the Terps rolled to a 4-0 win over Northwestern on the road on Friday in Big Ten conference play. Sejdic has scored three goals this season.

F Albert Ruiz, Florida Gulf Coast - Ruiz scored three goals in nine minutes to start the game against Rutgers on Tuesday. The quick outburst is an Atlantic Sun Conference record and believed to be the fastest in Division I history. The Eagles managed to hold onto a 6-5 win in the wild affair that also saw Jason Wright record a hat trick.

F Zeiko Lewis, Boston College - Nabbed the late equalizer as the Eagles held for a point against Louisville on Friday in ACC play. It was the third goal of the season for Lewis, who scored with just over four minutes left in the game.

F Frederick Karman, Saint Mary’s(m) - Karman scored twice in the Gaels 2-1 upset victory over West Virginia on Saturday. Karman was the focal point of the Gaels attack all day as he had four of the five shots on goal on the day.
