Following the ninth week of the men’s Division I soccer season, there are only two undefeated teams left. Maryland (13-0-2) survived two close games this week to run the winning streak to 10 games and unbeaten run to 15 games. The Terps close out the regular season this week with a home game against Delaware (10-5-1) and a road game against Michigan (2-9-4). Maryland keeps hold of the top spot in the TopDrawerSoccer Men’s Top 25. 

Denver (14-0-2) is the other undefeated program this season. Pioneers defeated New Mexico and Oral Roberts last week, which extending the winning run to seven games. The Pioneers are unbeaten in their last 33 regular season games. Denver also has two games left in the regular season. Denver heads to Omaha (8-4-3) this week for their final conference game of the season. Denver hosts Portland (9-3-1) next week in the regular season finale. Denver checks in at No. 3 this week in the TopDrawerSoccer Men’s Top 25. 

Wake Forest (12-2-2) jumps up to No. 2 this week. The Deacons defeated South Carolina and Boston College last week. Wake Forest closes out the regular season on Friday at No. 7 Syracuse (10-3-2). 

Clemson (9-2-4) is No. 4 in the updated Top 25. Clemson played to a 0-0 draw against Syracuse last week. Clemson closes out the season with a home game against Georgia Southern (7-5-3) and a road game against No. 8 Louisville (11-3-2). 

North Carolina (11-2-2) rounds out the top five. The Tar Heels slip out of the second spot in the rankings after a scoreless draw against College of Charleston. North Carolina closes out the season against No. 9 Notre Dame (10-4-1), which has lost it’s last three games.
