UCLA men beat San Diego
#10/3 UCLA improved its record to 4-1 after defeating San Diego, 2-1, Friday night in San Diego.
It was UCLA’s first win over San Diego in Torero Stadium since 2001. The Bruins received a goal in the 10th minute from freshman Ryan Hollingshead and a penalty kick goal in the 48th minute from senior Kyle Nakazawa. They were the second goals of the season for both players. Sophomore Brian Rowe made a career-high eight saves in the contest, with the only goal allowed a penalty kick by Andrew Feld.
UCLA will next host UNLV on Sunday at Drake Stadium at 5 pm.
