Updated: September 26, 2009

#10/3 UCLA improved its record to 4-1 after defeating San Diego, 2-1, Friday night in San Diego.

It was UCLA’s first win over San Diego in Torero Stadium since 2001.  The Bruins received a goal in the 10th minute from freshman Ryan Hollingshead and a penalty kick goal in the 48th minute from senior  Kyle Nakazawa. They were the second goals of the season for both players. Sophomore Brian Rowe made a career-high eight saves in the contest, with the only goal allowed a penalty kick by Andrew Feld.
