following their 2-0 victory over Mid-American Conference opponent Bowling Green
. The Zips might have been ripe for a letdown following the previous weekend’s impressive wins over high-profile ACC opposition, but Caleb Porter’s team scored a pair of 2nd half wins to get the desire result.
There wasn’t too much volatility in the Top 10, with only slow-starting UC Santa Barbara
falling in the ranking. A quartet of highly-ranked ACC teams played to league-opening draws on the weekend and thus held their ground. A handful of new entries to the poll are also featured.
The ranking is a running effort to project the 48-team NCAA Tournament field, including all automatic conference and at-large bids to the field. It is updated every Monday through the season. You can see the entire ranking here
