More Women's NCAA surprises; Knowlton POTW

More surprises in the NCAA Women’s Tournament made for some upheaval in our Tournament 64 Women’s College Ranking.

Georgetown and Washington made big moves as upstart entrants into the tournament’s quarterfinal rounds, while North Carolina and Virginia drop after their 3rd-round losses.

The ranking, which during the season attempts to project the postseason tournament field week-by-week, reflects the round-by-round results of the NCAA event once it begins.

The TopDrawerSoccer.com Women’s College Player of the Week is Brooke Knowlton. Knowlton earned the honor by scoring a pair of goals in the Eagles 4-0 win over West Virginia in the 3rd round of the NCAA Tournament.
