Loretto, Pa. – The Long Island University women’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 contest at Saint Francis (Pa.) on Friday afternoon at the Stokes Soccer Complex. The loss ended a 15-game unbeaten streak for LIU and dropped its record to 13-2-3 overall and 7-1-1 in Northeast Conference play.
The Blackbirds had the better of the play in the first half, piling up an 8-2 edge in shots, but were unable to take the lead and Saint Francis (Pa.) took advantage in the 55th minute.
