I think the top 100 list is a good idea, and itd be cool to be on it, but i doubt its very accurate, and is probably very biased... i personally take these ratings with a grain of salt... i've never heard of any of these players!!!

Quite the task i must say... they must have tons of scouts and connections at all of these showcases though, which is a great incentive for players to play their best knowing someone is always watching and evaluating their play for a chance to get on the top players list.

I would say the current Top 100 list for the '09 class is pretty accurate. I have seen many of these prospects in person and I would have to agree with most of the rankings. Sure, there are some overrated and underrated prospects here, but for the most part it's pretty solid. I was at the Houston Shootout last weekend and one of the best players I saw there was Chelsea Jones, a midfielder for Lonestars Red '91, who has committed to Texas A&M. She tore her ACL last year and basically didn't play for about 9 months, but she has come back stronger than ever. Anyway, she's not even in the database at this point, and I would say she's easily one of the Top 50 prospects in America. I saw her run circles around some of the players on this list, so there are a few problems here. Also, I saw some 4-star players listed here that are not even close to a 4-star college level prospect. I think TDS has put together a good list, but it does need some re-evaluating every 3-4 months after tournaments, camps, etc.
