I found it real interesting this year, that next to last day of the 93 ODP regional camp in Rockford that the regional coaches decided that they were not going to ''select'' any players going to an academy team. Talk about a "diluted" regional pool they selected. The politics and coaches cliques, IMO ,really took over then. how the "braintrusts" of these regional coaches knew who was going to an academy is beyond me. 94 parents beware, if your son is even thinking about playing for a DAP program next year, make sure you state office lets you know of the regional coaches intentions.
