UNDER-20 MNT RETURNS FROM ENGLAND: The U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team went 2-0 on their trip to England, picking up wins against the reserve squads from Bolton, 2-0, and Manchester United, 2-1. In the USA’s first game of the trip, Felix Garcia, who came on as a second-half sub, set up both goals for the U.S. and made an immediate impact by drawing the penalty kick that was converted by Jorge Flores in the 50th minute. In the 73rd minute, the Laredo, Texas native beat a defender down the right side, cut along the endline and slotted the ball for Agorsor, who beat the Bolton goalkeeper with a one-time shot. Against Manchester United, Flores dribbled down the left flank, beat a defender and slotted the ball for Peri Marosevic, who finished with a one-timer. Just before the final whistle, the U.S. took advantage of a long throw in from defender Sheanon Williams. Ike Opara flicked a header into the box for Marosevic, who scored with a one-time shot for the second time on the night. The U.S. was also scheduled to play the Liverpool reserves on their trip, but that friendly was cancelled.
