DENVER - PDA midfielder Scott Thomsen continued to knock hard on the door of Bradenton Residency with an outstanding match here Monday, helping Team Paule to a 4-1 win over Team Mondelo.

Thomsen's crossing from the left has been good all week, and he set up the team's 2nd goal  by bringing a ball down in the forward 3rd and then hitting a lovely chipped pass to Lucas Dall'Orso who finished well to make it 2-0 early in the 2nd half for Paule.

After an own goal pulled Team Mondelo within 1, Thomsen then got a goal of his own, stealing another pass and then firing home to make it 3-1.  Team Paule finished off the match when Jon Tovar headed home from a Ross Tomaselli corner. The squad's opening goal had come via an Orlando Castaneda penalty kick.

Team Mondelo got some good play in the back from Cody Henderson and on the left from Leon Carby. Joseph Sofia and Ryan Metts were a good central defensive pairing for Team Paule, while Donny Toia and Ryan Neil were dangerous in attack.
