It all starts taking shape now.
The Division I Men's College conference tournaments are finished. On Monday the NCAA will announce the field and pairings for the 48-team postseason tournament, culminating in the College Cup, to be played this year in Frisco, TX. These conference tournaments will determine the automatic qualifier for 19 of the 22 conferences receiving automatic bids (Pac 10, Ivy and West Coast Conference are the exceptions).
The championship committee is instructed to use won-lost record and strength of schedule as its selection criteria, with a primary emphasis on the adjusted RPI which puts the most weight on opponents' strength of schedule.
Following is a rundown of each conference's tournament or remaining league play, with results updated daily along with a look at regular season champions and the breakdown of likely At-Large bids from each.
