TOP STORY: Chalk up another national title to group of seniors from Tulsa, Okla., who happen to power the [Union ok-w] (Tulsa, Okla.) girls soccer team.

A loss by former No. 1 St. Joseph's Academy (St. Louis, Mo.), leaves Union in the spring girls No. 1 spot.

Four of Union's starters, including Danielle Hoover -- who netted winning goals in the state semifinal and final -- also played key roles in winning an ECNL national title for Tulsa in the summer of 2013.

BIG MOVERS: BOYS: Blacksburg (Blacksburg, Va.) jumped from No. 48 to 24 this week following another region title. This perennial state power is back in the state semifinals and riding a 20-match win streak. GIRLS: Battlefield (Haymarket, Va.) has won conference and region titles the past two weeks, sending the defending state champions back into the state semifinals this week. The region title helped Battlefield move five spots to No. 14.

NEWCOMERS: BOYS: No. 28 Jamestown (Williamsburg, Va.), No. 43 Linn-Mar (Marion, Iowa), No. 48 Millard West (Omaha, Neb.), No. 49 Parkview (Lilburn, Ga.) and No. 50 Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, Ga.). GIRLS: No. 23 East Kentwood (Kentwood, Mich.), No. 25 Saline (Saline, Mich.), No. 30 Gull Lake (Richland, Mich.), No. 44 Mills Godwin (Richmond, Va.), No. 48 Notre Dame de Sion (Kansas City, Mo.), No. 49 [St. Pius X Catholic ga-w] (Atlanta, Ga.) and No. 50 Marist School (Atlanta, Ga.).
