Rank School Record
1 (1) St. Benedict's Prep Newark, NJ 5-0-0
Zachary Pereira scored a match-winning goal with six seconds left as St. Benedict's edged Berkshire School 2-1 in a battle of FAB 50 and Prep Top 10 No. 1 teams. The Gray Bees followed that win with a 4-0 decision over Chaminade (N.Y.), which plays in the same league with FAB 50 No. 3-ranked St. Anthony's.
2 (2) McDonogh School Owings Mills, MD 3-0-0
Maryland commit Connor Smith had three goals and one assist last week as McDonogh defeated former FAB 50-ranked St. Paul's and Mount St. Joseph by a combined 8-2 margin. Nick Brown scored twice and Tunde Akinlosotu delivered a pair of goals against Mount St. Joseph.
3 (3) St. Anthony's Melville, NY 4-0-0
St. Anthony's defeated Catholic league rivals Kellenberg (3-0) and St. Mary's (7-0) last week, before defeating PSAL foe Beacon (3-0). St. Benedict's handed Beacon a 5-0 defeat the previous week, and Beacon plays in the same athletic conference as FAB 50-ranked Martin Luther King.
4 (4) Avon Avon, IN 10-0-0
Sophomore Dillon Stemler scored the lone goal as Avon edged Cincinnati Moeller (Ohio) 1-0 on Saturday, capping a string of three wins in two days. The Moeller match was Avon's second of the day following a win over Lawrence North.
5 (5) Jesuit Carmichael, CA 8-0-0
Sophomore Lucas Churchill scored in both matches as Jesuit swept Portland Jesuit (Ore.) and Central Catholic (Ore.), the top two-ranked teams in Oregon.
6 (6) Washington Township Sewell, NJ 2-0-0
Lou Vilotti scored both goals as Washington Township capped its first week of regular-season play with a 2-1 win over Cherry Hill West.
7 (10)

St. Charles East St. Charles, IL 8-0-0
St. Charles East defeated West Chicago and Elgin last week to remain perfect. This week, the Fighting Saints face Batavia, which knocked off former FAB 50-ranked Edwardsville last week.
8 (11)

Chaminade Creve Coeur, MO 6-0-0
Chaminade's perfect start was put to the test before the team emerged with a shootout win over FAB 50-ranked Quincy last week.
9 (12)

Massapequa Massapequa, NY 3-0-0
Peter Meyer had a goal and two assists last week as Massapequa swept a pair of league matches.
10 (15)

St. Thomas Aquinas Overland Park, KS 5-0-0
Luke Kutey scored three goals in St. Thomas Aquinas' 5-0 win over Bishop Miege last week.
11 (18)

Granite Bay Granite Bay, CA 5-0-0
Granite Bay has won four straight one-goal matches since a season-opening 7-1 victory. The Grizzlies got a bump this week when Davis, a team it defeated, knocked off highly regionally ranked Marin Academy.
12 (19)

Martin Luther King Manhattan, NY 3-0-0
Ibrahim Lakanobo scored four goals and added three assists as MLK opened the season with a pair of league wins last week. On the weekend, the team added a match -- against PSAL defending B champ Grand Street Campus, and won that contest 4-0.
13 (21)

Plainfield North Plainfield, IL 9-0-0
Plainfield North won three multi-goal matches last week to stay perfect. The Tigers are in position to not see a FAB 50-ranked team until the postseason, which means this undefeated run might live on for quite a while this season.
14 (16)

Quincy Quincy, IL 6-1-1
Quincy and No. 8 Chaminade (Mo.) played to a draw through regulation and overtime before Chaminade won in penalty kicks. Despite the blemish on the record, the result validates Quincy being ranked closely behind Chaminade.
15 (17)

Evansville Memorial Evansville, IN 6-0-0
The Tigers blanked Evansville North 2-0 in the team's only outing last week.
16 (25)

Seton Hall Prep West Orange, NJ 3-0-0
Mike Hall delivered a penalty kick goal to lift Seton Hall Prep to a 1-0 win over Oratory last week.
17 (22)

Fayetteville Academy Fayetteville, NC 11-0-0
Fayetteville Academy shut out all three of its opponents last week. Like No. 13 Plainfield North (Ill.), it is possible that Fayetteville Academy will go the rest of the season without seeing as much as a TopDrawerSoccer state-ranked opponent. That said, a late-season match with Greensboro Day School could prove quite important in the final analysis of Fayetteville Academy.
18 (24)

Canton Canton, MI 8-0-1
Just a few weeks into the season, and Canton stands alone as the lone undefeated squad in the 24-team KLAA. There are more teams in the KLAA than in a several playoff classifications in fall-playing small states.
19 (26)

Washburn Rural Topeka, KS 3-0-0
Brayden White delivered the team's offensive highlight last week, scoring a pair of goals in Washburn Rural's 5-1 win over Wichita Northwest.
20 (27)

Glastonbury Glastonbury, CT 2-0-0
Glastonbury opened the season with 4-0 wins over Fermi and Windsor, but a tough test looms early this week against East Catholic.
21 (29)

Ludlow Ludlow, MA 3-0-0
Ludlow defeated Westfield and East Longmeadow last week, setting up a showdown with Belchertown early this week. A Ludlow win keeps it at the top of the local rankings, but a loss would justify Amherst as the top team in Western Massachusetts.
22 (31)

Northern Durham Durham, NC 5-0-0
Northern Durham was idle last week after its only match was postponed due to bad weather.
23 (23) Okemos Okemos, MI 7-0-1

24 (33)

Air Academy USAF Academy, CO 6-0-0
Mark Beatty and Henry Yocum scored first-half goals as Air Academy defeated Pine Creek 2-1 last week. Pine Creek started the year ranked among the top teams in Colorado.

Michigan State commit DeJuan Jones netted the lone goal as East Lansing edged Holt last week to run its record to 9-0.
