The fall season includes the following states: California (fall), Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia (private), West Virginia, Wisconsin. The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

St. Anthony’s starts regular-season play Saturday against Notre Dame (N.J.).

Indiana commit Jordan Kleyn scored two goals in each of Avon's three outings last week as Avon won all three matches. Kleyn also added three assists in the team's 7-1 win over Ben Davis.

Diego Buesrostro, a member of the preseason All-American Watch List, scored three goals last week as Jesuit rolled up a pair of easy wins.

Washington Township starts regular-season play Sept. 11 against Cherokee.

Last year, Haverford School lost its opening two matches to Loyola (Md.) and Archbishop Curley (Md.), but reversed those outcomes this year. The Fords shut out both of their Baltimore Catholic rivals to start the 2014 campaign.

Zach Manibog scored twice as St. Charles East opened the season with an eye-popping 5-1 win over Neuqua Valley. St. Charles East followed up that win with a 6-0 victory over Kelly.

Kenny Massa scored twice as Chaminade handled Christian Brothers 3-0, the Red Devils' second major 3-0 win over a league rival this season.

Gian-Luca Hail scored the lone goal as Lower Merion opened the season with a 1-0 win over West Chester East.

St. Edward won the Crusader Cup, topping Moeller in the final on a shootout after the teams played to a 2-2 draw.

Plainfield North rockets into the Top 25 after a 5-2 win over former Top 10-ranked Hinsdale Central.
