Well, he’s already a goalkeeper, and a talented one, but there’s still a gap between what he is and what he could be – which is a good thing.
The promising prospect, our No. 66 ranked player in the 2013 class, verbally committed to local SIU Edwardsville last week in a move that shows Dal Santo is also looking toward his future.
“I’m looking forward to developing further under the guidance of Head Coach Kevin Kalish and Goalkeeper Coach Brian Jones,” he said.
Kyle Dal SantoHe will most certainly do that. The 5-foot-10 Chicago Fire netminder is of slight build, which should change over the next few years, but has showed a command over the defense.
Dal Santo is joined in this update by another notable 2013 player in
Nick Jones.
Jones is our No. 43 ranked player in the class and has just announced his commitment to Wisconsin.
Jones is a highly regarded striker with good size and instincts. At Wisconsin he will join club teammates
Brian Hail and Alec Cochran and is expected to be an instant impact player.
