On the heels of being named the US U20 Women’s National team head coach, Jillian Ellis will gather together 24 players for a weeklong camp April 25-May 3 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.

Ellis, a decorated coach of the UCLA Bruins, previously served as the U20 coach during the previous cycle in 2007 before moving to the full Women’s National Team staff.

Ellis brought together the U20s and the U18s in a combined camp in Chula Vista, California, back in January, and she’ll be helping players gear up for the 2010 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Germany.

This roster will include eight players who were a part of the USA’s 2008 U17 Women’s World Cup Team that took second last year, including: Amber Brooks, Cloee Colohan, Kristen Mewis, Courtney Verloo and Taylor Vancil.

Eight players who are currently college freshman will also be present, making for a diverse group of talent.
