Nomads Soccer Club


Ready for some good competitive action? Want to give back to the community? 100% of the funds raised at the Nomads tournaments go back into the club.  The Nomads Soccer Club and Academy is a 35-year-old non-profit organization that fields teams for U8-18 boys and girls. They owe their success to friendly customer service. You will always get a real person when you call. The group also provides assistance into college, professional play and coaching opportunities. Notable Nomads Alum include: Steve Cherundolo and Frankie Hejduk. Nomads is proudly sponsored by Nike and Demosphere. Teams come from all over the Western States: Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico. 3 games are guaranteed, 6 games maximum. Travel teams are highly encouraged. San Diego offers great attractions: Sea World, beaches, the world famous San Diego Zoo, Indian Casinos and only 20 miles to Tijuana.

Nomads hold the following tournaments each year:

  • Nomads Coaches Showcase - March U14-19 Boys & Girls
  • Nomads Thanksgiving Tournament - U8-19 Boys & Girls

San Juan Soccer Soccer Club

Want to play for the California Development Academy or Elite Clubs National League? The San Juan Soccer Club prides itself as the only Sacramento area club to offer young men the opportunity to play for California Development Academy and young women to compete in the Elite Clubs National League.  San Juan Soccer hosts the biggest and best Division I tournament in Northern California. The Cal Cup takes place in June and is the first summer stop for some top West Coast teams. The Cal Cup is sponsored by Nike and Coca-Cola. Approximately 300 teams converge on Cherry Island Soccer Complex. All teams are guaranteed 4 games.  Most teams come from CA, UT, NV, WA and OR but Tournament Director Bashar Nazanda would like to see teams from all over the US. Many area attractions include: Sun Splash Water Park, Golfland, and Downtown Sacramento. Discount tickets to Sacramento River Cats Minor league baseball are available through the club.

San Juan Soccer holds the following tournaments each year:

  • CalCup - June U9-19 Boys & Girls

Snohomish Youth Soccer Club

If FUN is what you look for when choosing a tournament, think Snohomish Big Foot. Snohomish Youths Soccer Club owns 60 acres. Camping, hiking fishing are all encouraged. The whole community gets involved and puts on a giant festival.  Don’t let the fun reputation fool you, the competition is top notch. Teams mostly come from the Pacific Northwest and Canada

SYSC holds the following tournaments each year:

  • Bigfoot - August U11-19
  • Recreational Cup - September U9-15

Neptune Soccer Association

Head to the Jersey Shore for the Neptune Annual Summer Kickoff. The event has 4 sites, 15 fields and a 3 game guarantee with a chance of a 4th. This is the 4th year and the club cuts off the teams at 150. Teams come from the Tri-State area; NJ, NY, PA with a few teams from VA, MD and Canada. Five Jersey Shore beaches are with 5 miles of fields.

Neptune Soccer Association holds the following tournaments each year:

  • Summer Kickoff - June U8-19

MAPS (Mid Atlantic Premier Soccer) & MSSL

If your goal is to play in college, how do you get a coach to see you play?  More than 200 college coaches attend the MAPS & MSSL Showcases; held at Fort Dix on the old military parade ground. This is the only tournament where coaches can watch 40 teams play simultaneously.  The NJ, NY, PA area has a plethora of small colleges who must fill varsity spots.  This is your chance to get one of those varsity spots. MSSL has a long standing record of offering inclusive showcases. The result is over 12,000 players were observed by over 800 college coaches. No other system in the US can match those numbers. The preferred format for college coaches is to watch 45 minutes of uninterrupted games. MAPS & MSSL fits these criteria. The East Coast has over 50% of the colleges in the nation and over 60% of those colleges attend MAPS & MSSL showcases. This is a great opportunity to been seen by over 30% of all colleges in the USA. If your first priority is to play in college then MAPS & MSSL programs should be on your plan.
