Apparently, Hope Solo reads the 91st Minute (like, who doesn’t?). About a month ago, I proposed we send three women to the men’s game and Hope was all over it. After the WPS canceled its season, she revealed to goal.com that she considered suiting up with the guys.
“I thought about it. I thought about playing for a lower-division men’s club team in St. Louis. And I do believe I would have been able to take care of myself and handle my own if it was a lower division.”
We all believe, Hope.
Unfortunately, we won’t get the chance to find out. Instead, she made “The Decision” to join the Sounders and form a “Survivor” like alliance with (heavy breathing) Alex Morgan.
