Little League mom sends death threats to son’s coach

Written by Jahmal Corner

In yet another episode of “See, soccer mom’s really aren’t that bad,” a New York mom has been sentenced to jail for sending death threats to her son’s baseball coach.

45-year-old Janet Chiauzzi wasn’t happy when her son wasn’t chosen for a select travel team, so instead she invoked the old adage:

“If you can’t join em, (try to) kill em!”

Ok, that’s not really an adage – at least not for sane people.

Anyway, according to Reuters, Chiauzzi sent threatening letters to the coach’s wife as well as his 10-year-old son (cringe).

Oddly enough, after all that effort, Chiauzzi’s son still didn’t make the team. On the bright side, we hear Chiauzzi has a pretty good shot at starting third base for the penitentiary select squad.
