We know she’s great in the box, but what about in front of the camera?

USC goalkeeper Caroline Stanley was more than ready for her closeup Monday when she worked with ESPN to cover the Los Angeles Lakers Media Day. Stanley, who is pursuing journalism or public relations at USC, rubbed shoulders with Kobe, Dwight Howard, Steve Nash and the rest of the insanely tall men in their purple and gold jerseys.

Stanley will be sporting her own gold jersey again this weekend when her Trojans return to the field. She’ll do so with a new Hollywood swagger (and perhaps a renewed respect for reporters … uh, and bloggers … ahem!).
