Here’s the scoop:

Vanderlei Luxemburgo, the coach of Brazilian team Gremio, was accused of teasing (yes, teasing) Huachipato manager Jorge Pellicier. So, following the match, the entire Huachipato squad decided to jump him.

From there, the riot squad, fans, ball boys, dogs and horses got involved. And that’s all I have to say about that.

Brazilian 4th division team Votuporanguense beat Fernandopolis 2-1 in a match Sunday that erupted into a brawl and 12 red cards.

The mayhem began when Fernandopolis’ goalkeeper took down Votuporanguense’s striker on a 1v1. After he got shown a red, things got out of hand. There were punches and flying kicks that mostly didn’t connect. It resulted in a few minor injuries and once things were settled down, 11 more red cards were handed out.

If you really want to discipline a player, take away his ability to bathe himself – that’s what I always say.

Well, it seems someone finally listened, and after last night’s brawl between English clubs Bradford and Crawley (above) there are a few disciplined players who won’t be shampooing anytime soon.

The madness happened when the two clubs went at each other after the whistle and the five players found to be the offenders retreated to their locker rooms.

The refs followed.

Bradford manager Phil Parkinson told the BBC:

“I have never been in a situation before where a ref has come into the dressing room, pulled players on one side and sent them off. He wouldn’t allow me in there.”

Unfortunately, no cameras found their way in either so we can’t show you what would’ve been classic footage of red cards being exchanged under the sprinkle of shower heads.

We’ll just have to use our imaginations and L-O-L until it hurts.
