Last weekend gave us a bountiful golazo harvest. From College Cup-winning goals to strikes that put teams in the College Cup, we’ve got a bit of everything to slop onto your voting plate this week. Rejoice.

Of course the Women’s College Cup and its attendant games will dominate the spectrum this week, but we’ve also got some bright efforts from the men’s Elite 8 as well. So strap on your voting hats and get cracking, folks. This week is about as tough as it gets.

And then there were 12.

The men’s and women’s DI tourneys are down to the wire, as both are nearing Judgment Day. On the women’s side, we’ve already whittled it down to College Cup four: West Virginia, North Carolina, Georgetown and USC. The men’s side is one step from that same place, with the final eight prepping to be cut in half by the end of the weekend.

Goals take on added significance this time of year. Golazos, meanwhile, belong in their own stratosphere.

This week we’ve got four belters from the week that set the women’s College Cup field and took the men from 16 to 8. Big doings. Let’s get going.

There are few incontrovertible truths in this world. One of them? The best goals are tourney goals.

The tourney’s now in full, riotous swing for both men and women after last week’s events. While the women plunge dangerously close to the College Cup in San Jose, the men are now fixing their gaze on the third round after a wild first two. As if you needed proof, unseeded Providence came back from a 4-1 deficit on Sunday, scored four goals in 13 minutes and won 5-4. That was top-seeded Maryland’s only loss of the season.

With all that said, it’s Goal of the Week time, and we’ve got some bangers for you. So let’s dive right into it, shall we?

Conference tournament season is here, which means the TDS College Goal of the Week is getting serious. Furrow-your-brow-and-win-a-title serious, folks.

This week we’ve got all manner of insanity from a number of different soccer-mad hamlets. We’ve got a goal that clinched an unbeaten year, tournament-winning golazos and individual feats of excellence in the crucible of the season that’ll make you reach for that one Antonio Banderas gif the kids love so much.

We’re getting ever closer to the NCAA tourney (which will bring us ever closer to the Goal of the Year vote). Take note friends, because it’s voting season. Let’s go.

We’re all over the place with this week’s scintillating episode of TDS College Goal of the Week.

This week marks a battle of the coasts. Cascadia took turns on ridiculous golazos while a pair of ACC teams chalked up silly goals of their own to make the final four. This week’s slate of goals was one of our heaviest of the year as the postseason approaches. So let’s dive into the maelstrom, shall we?

After a record-setting week, TDS College Goal of the Week is beaming back onto your computer screens for another slate of ridiculousness.

This week is a glorious grab-bag of Halloween goodies, from a pair of absolutely hammered free kicks in the women’s game to a pair of long-range blasts from outside the box on the men’s side. A powerful week in the enchanted realm of the golazo.

Let’s get right down to it, shall we?

Feeling a bit rebellious this week? So are we.

We’ve got a bit of history this week as one school makes two appearances on the same round of voting. The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels got unreal efforts on both the men’s and women’s sides in a three-game span, prompting us to do the unthinkable: put both on the same vote. And don’t think we were looking for gimmicks either – both were eminently deserving.

But they’ve got some stiff competition in this week’s TDS College Goal of the Week vote. Let’s go to the tape.

The TDS College Goal of the Week is rolling right through September and into October. Fall is here and the golazos are falling (real sorry).

This week, we have a lot of Hulk Smashing going on. From laser-guided golazos at Creighton, Washington and Colorado to a banana shot in Indy, you’ve got your work cut out in voting for this cadre of star-studded goals this week. Choose wisely.

Every golazo profile is different. Sometimes you get a spate of upper-90 Hulk Smashes, and sometimes you get silky turn-and-score goals inside the box. Sometimes, if the stars align, you get both.

We are lucky this week. The stars have aligned.

From two corkers on opposite sides of the country to a no-look flip to an un-sighted turn-and-score in the South, you’ve got your work cut out this week. No easy choices. But those are the best weeks.

It’s Monday, and that means one thing: College Goal of the Week is here, ready to sift out the best candidates from the past week of action in the college game.

A quartet of howitzers are on the menu this week, as conference play means that the stakes are raised even though we’ve yet to reach October.

Without further ado, this week’s fantastic quartet of options are here for your viewing (and voting) pleasure.
