Lionel Messi scored a hat-trick against Malaga Wednesday to break Gerd Mueller’s record for goals in a European club season.
His 68 goals gives him one more than the mark Mueller set for Bayern Munich in 1972-73, and he sure did it in style didn’t he? After converting a pair of penalty kicks he delivered the above run, chipped it over the keeper and finished. Pure class.
Even with Barcelona in the midst of trying times the little guy still manages to deliver.
