ESPN just released its list of the top 10 US soccer players that are under 21 years old. At the top of the list is Juan Agudelo who is currently playing for the New York Red Bulls. He is most notably known for being the youngest American to score a goal on the senior men’s national team.
At number two is former Michigan Wolves star Josh Gatt who is currently playing in Norway for Molde FK. Gatt passed on MLS and a scholarship to Indiana, in order to develop his talents overseas. Since arriving at Molde he helped the squad win its first title in 100 years.
At number three and four are Joe Gyau and Terrence Boyd who are also overseas playing in the Bundesliga. The list also inlcludes Sebastian Lletget who is now on West Ham’s development team.
Recent UCLA graduate and Generation adidas player
Kelyn Rowe came in at number nine. Rowe was recently drafted by the New England Revolution as the third pick in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft. The top ten list contains a lot very talented soccer players that have the potential to do great things for US Soccer in coming years.
