Like many top youth soccer players in the state of Indiana, playing soccer for the IU men’s program was a dream for Jacob Gruber.
That dream will turn into reality in the fall of 2017 after he made his commitment to play for the Big Ten school.
“Growing up in Indiana, the Hoosiers were the best and the greatest soccer team around,” Gruber told TopDrawerSoccer. “My family and I would see the Hoosiers play and many IU soccer alumni have been with me throughout my development as a soccer player and a person. IU's amazing history of winning, high expectations, and the family like environment are extremely important to me. They push their players to be the best versions of themselves on and off the field.”
