Texas defender picks Conference USA school

One of the best defenders in Texas is on the way to the Conference USA.
Solar Chelsea SC center back Matt Mazur confirmed his commitment to join Kentucky this week.
Mazur has logged 21 appearances in Development Academy play for Solar’s U16 side. He’s also been a standout for [Wakeland tx-m] High School, and played in the prestigious Dallas Cup five times.
A Best XI performer at a 2016 TDS Unsigned Showcase in Dallas, Mazur is a smart player that uses his size and strength to shackle opposing forwards.
He is the third player to verbally commit to join Kentucky with the 2018 recruiting class, along with Colin Innes and Robert Screen.
