Between the cross-country travel, the long list of College Cup contenders, and the level of talent from top to bottom, the current ACC is without a doubt the most difficult conference in college soccer history. One could highlight how seven of the last nine national champions currently reside in the league. But what is more telling is a program like Virginia Tech, which went from an NCAA Tournament Elite Eight in 2024 to the bottom of the table with no conference wins in 2025.
