FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer team picked up one more point in the Northeast Conference standings Sunday after battling Sacred Heart to a scoreless draw. The second-place Knights, who now have 14 points, one behind first-place Saint Francis University, are now 8-6-3 (4-0-2 NEC) on the season, while the Pioneers go to 5-10-1 (2-3-1 NEC) overall.

For the second game in a row, FDU was outshot, as Sacred Heart held a 15-8 advantage. But in the second overtime period, the Knights outshot the Pioneers, 3-0, after the home team held the same lead in the first overtime period.

Senior Sage DoVale picked up her second clean sheet of the weekend to give her seven on the season. She made two in the first half and one in each of the second half and first overtime period.

FDU ripped six of its eight shots on goal, with junior Kasey Schiavoni and sophomore Esther Rochon each recording three apiece on the net.

The Knights, who still have not clinched an NEC Tournament spot, will look to Friday, Nov. 1 when they travel to Moon Township, Pa. to take on Robert Morris for a 2 p.m. contest.
