LOUDONVILLE, NY – For the program record sixth consecutive match Siena Soccer played an overtime contest, and for the third time in four matches to open 2017 the result was a tie. Senior goalkeeper Aleksa Radosavljevic made five saves to help lead the Saints to a scoreless draw with Holy Cross at Siena Turf Field.

The teams combined for 30 shots with each side having more than their fair share of quality scoring chances, but neither squad could get anything past either keeper. Radosavljevic made all five of his saves following halftime to record his second shutout of the young season for Siena (0-1-3), while his opposite number Henry Stutz stopped six shots to earn the clean sheet for Holy Cross (1-1-1).

Five Saints led the way offensively with two shots apiece, while Max Krause led all players with five shots for the Crusaders. Overall, Holy Cross held a 19-11 advantage in shots and a 4-3 margin in corners.  

Siena concludes its first of two season long three-match homestands next Wednesday when the Saints host Army West Point at 3 p.m.
