Lincoln - The Nebraska soccer team attempted 10 shots on goal, but were only able to put one in net on Sunday afternoon, as the Huskers and Baylor Bears settled for a 1-1 tie after 90 minutes of regulation and two overtimes. Sophomore forward Stacy Bartels notched the fifth goal of her NU career and the first of the 2011 season at 59:28 when she tied the game with a 25-yard shot at the opposite post.

The Huskers totaled 22 shots on the afternoon, including three on goal from junior Morgan Marlborough and two each from Bartels and Jordan Jackson. Michaella Fulmer, Mayme Conroy and Maddie Hanssler also had shots on goal, but Baylor goalie Courtney Seelhorst was nearly perfect on the day with nine saves. The Huskers had multiple scoring opportunities in the box, including a 9-3 advantage on corner kicks, but couldn't find the net to take the lead.

The Bears only got off five total shots, but made the most of their two attempts on goal. Dana Larsen gave Baylor an early lead that they carried into halftime at 14:56 when she beat NU goalkeeper Emma Steven one-on-one from 10-yards out to give the Bears a 1-0 advantage.
