Kats Score Two in Second Half, Down Jefferson CC

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - The Erie Community College women's soccer team used two second-half goals to pick up a 2-1 win Saturday over Jefferson Community College in Region III action at the ECC South Campus.
Freshman Breanna Pangel (Holland, N.Y./Holland) tied the match 10 minutes into the second half before freshmen Chelsea Olson (West Seneca, N.Y./West Seneca East) and Allyson Wrazen (East Aurora, N.Y./Iroquois) worked a give-and-go to give the Kats the 2-1 lead seven minutes later. The goal was Olson's fifth of the season.
Freshman goalkeeper Madison Kiernan (Lackawanna, N.Y./Immaculata Academy) made 10 saves, including two in the final minutes, for the win.
ECC will play at Alfred State Thursday.
