Akron remains #1 in the TopDrawerSoccer.com Tournament 48 National Ranking this week, following a 2-1 second round NCAA Tournament victory over Michigan.

The ranking is an effort to project the postseason NCAA Tournament field of 48 each week, including the automatic qualifiers from every DI conference. Now that the tournament has begun, the ranking reflects the actual results of the tournament.

M: Nikita Kotlov, Indiana – Bagged a hat trick as Indiana’s second round win over Xavier.

M:  Connor Brandt, San Diego – Scored 2 goals including an overtime winner for Cal State Northridge(m), and added 2 assists as USD won twice.

M: Dan Delgado, San Diego – Scored a goal and recorded 4 assists as the Toreros won a pair of NCAA Tournament games.

M: Dillon Powers, Notre Dame – Recorded 2 assists and bossed the midfield in a 3-0 win by the Fighting Irish over Michigan State.

F: Dylan Mares, Louisville – Scored a hat trick as the Cardinals defeated Winthrop 5-0.

F: Louis Clark, Syracuse – Scored 2 goals and added an assist in a 3-2 win over VCU.
