Niagara scored twice in the final four minutes of the first half en route to a 3-0 victory over Siena Women’s Soccer in Western New York. Jayanna Monds led the Saints with four shots, including a pair on target.

Siena (4-9-4, 2-4-2) out-shot Niagara (7-7-2, 3-5-1) 7-6 in the first half, but the Purple Eagles struck twice late to take a commanding lead. Niagara went in front on an own goal in the 41^st minute, and Veda Hensel scored with just five seconds remaining in the stanza to push the advantage to two.

Djeynaba Thiam added an insurance goal in the 75^th minute for the Purple Eagles which improved to 5-1-1 at home. Sabrina Locas made eight saves to register the shutout.

Taylor Dorado stopped two shots for the Saints.

Siena returns home to host Fairfield for Senior Day Saturday at 1 p.m. The team will honor its five seniors in a special pre-match ceremony just prior to kickoff.
